We are professionals who are committed to delivering the highest level of service to our customers. We have over 10 years of experience as professional entertainers with credits in directing, designing, performing, and producing events.
Gordon, founder of Digital DJs, started his career in theatre in the 90's and worked as licensed radio disc jockey in 1994. He was born and raised in Linville Falls, NC. Gordon has traveled quite a bit and now lives in Boone. His lighting and sound credits include multiple productions in theatres in North Carolina and Arizona, and most recently for all productions at Tweetsie Railroad. With a BS in theatre and a MFA in theatre, Gordon is primed for smooth last-minute changes and complete professionalism on the microphone. He has extensive performance experience in hundreds of performances and has worked professionally as an entertainer for Paramount Parks and with Theatre IV on a national tour. Gordon teaches an Arts Management course at ASU in Boone, and upholds the best of business practices. FYI: LOUDER IS NOT BETTER-- SAVE YOUR HEARING!
Our sound system is 200 watts-- enough to blow the roof off of most reception rooms. It's loud enough to party and we can always add more speakers for sound distribution! Beware of DJs who boast high wattage. Our ears use"Logarithmic" scale. That means that 400 watts does NOT sound 10 times louder than 40 watts. Our ears do NOT work like that.
